Makarska, at the foot of the Biokovo Mountain (designated as nature park because of its ecological biodiversity) and along the Adriatic coast, has always been the touristic, cultural, administrative and economic center of the Makarska Riviera. Makarska is one of the most famous tourist destinations on the Croatian coast, that attracts for its rich Mediterranean vegetation, wonderful weather, tourist attractions, events and lively atmosphere. Makarska is well known for its sandy beach, which is almost 2 kilometers long. The pretty walkways are lined with palm trees and surrounded by beautiful beaches, hotels, museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes and more. There is a lot to do, suitable for all ages. There is also a ferry that runs from Makarska to Sumartin on the island Brač for those that want to take a trip to one of the Croatian islands. During the summer months the harbor fills up with yachts and tourist ships. Makarska boasts of a rich culture and heritage. One of its most prominent landmarks is the Franciscan monastery that recently celebrated its 500th anniversary. The monastery houses a Malacological museum which has the largest collection of snails, shells and mussels in the world. Fossils from the region are also on display. The St. Petar Park is a spot with a beautiful view of the city, magnificent Mount Biokovo and the open sea. All in all, it's a good holiday destination for those who want a bit of a mix of everything, from beaches to lively nightlife, as well as a bit of hiking adventure. On the third day we need to see famous Tunnel of Hope and see why this place was so important for Sarajevo residents during the siege, after we will have a walk in historical center of Sarajevo. On the way to Sarajevo we will walk over historical bridge in Konjic.
After sleep in Sarajevo, we need to come to calm Trebinje, to see famous Ottoman bridge, small beautiful historical center, the Trebinje panorama from the hill with beautiful church, and finish this day with with dinner in local restaurant tasting amazing food and wines. On the way to Trebinje we will pass the Sutejska National park.
After a night in Trebinje, we will visit Tvrdos monastery, known for its wine cellars, and taste few varieties of wine monks produce there; have a tour in Vjetrenica cave (UNESCO World Heritage site) and see unique creature, so called human fish; will visit Zavala monastery partially located in a cave. We will also see small but important UNESCO World Heritage site Radimlja with ancient carved tombstones.

After stay in Sarajevo, we need to visit very meaningful place for Sarajevo residents, so-called Tunnel of Hope, and learn how it's help to peple during Sarajevo siege. The same day, we will continue our tour by take a road across Sutejska National park to Trebinje.
Nearby Trebinje, we will visit Tvrdos monastery, known for its wine cellars, and taste few varieties of wine monks produce there; we will see whole Trebinje panorama from the hill with beautiful church together with Ottoman bridge, and finish this day with dinner in local restaurant where are served local dishes and wines.
From Trebinje, we will take a road back to Makarska, and on the way will have a tour in Vjetrenica cave (UNESCO Tentative List site), admire panoramic view to the valley from old Ottoman fortress Stolac (UNESCO Tentative List site), and see archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
