We invite you to the day trip from Dubrovnik to see few attractions of Bosnia-Herzegovina. We going to see Tvrdos monastery and taste great white, red, and rose wines of its cellar. We will have a short stop to see small Orthodox monastery Zavala, partially located in cave. We will see historical town Blagaj (UNESCO Tentative List site), situated at the spring of the Buna river, and visit dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520. The rest of the day we will spend in Mostar (UNESCO World Heritage site), walk in historical center and admire Mostar Old Bridge.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for orthodox monastery

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for architecture, bridge, cave, fortress, landmark, museum, river, viewpoint, islam monastery; monastery is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.
