From the medieval old town of Stari Bar with its ancient aqueduct to the breathtaking Valdanos viewpoint overlooking the olive groves and the sea, from a family-run winery tasting to the imposing fortress of Ulcinj – every moment brings a new discovery. Experience history and local food and drinks at their best, all at an easy pace with no rush.

Day after day description

We begin our tour with exploring medieval old town Stari Bar, a fascinating open-air museum of ruined buildings, narrow cobbled streets, and centuries of history. We also see the ancient aqueduct, a remarkable structure from the Ottoman period.

We then come to explore Winery Milovic, a family-run estate where we enjoy a tasting of their excellent local wines, particularly the red Vranac variety, known for its deep color and robust body, as well as their white Krstac.

We then continue to see the Ulcinj Fortress, an ancient stronghold perched on a cliff above the Adriatic, with origins dating back to Illyrian times.

After that, we will come to admire the Valdanos viewpoint, offering stunning views over the olive groves, the coastline, and the open sea. Finally, we return to Bar, where our memorable one-day journey concludes.
