Tour description

Discover Bosnia-Herzegovina and taste wonderful Herzegovina wines with all seasons 2 days Bosnia tour from Korcula (pick up and drop off in Orebic). During the first day we will visit Vjetrenica cave, Orthodox cave monastery Zavala, famous Tvrdos Orthodox monastery and taste real Herzegovina white, rose and red wines from its own wine cellar, admire panoramic view of Trebinje from hilly church, and enjoy small walking tour in Trebinje.

On the next day we will take a road to see archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site), admire dervish monastery in Blagaj, visit Medjugorje pilgrimage center, and see famous Kravica waterfalls. After we will enjoy local food with local wine and return back.

It is a real treasure in biodiversity. Also, it is the home to the famous olm (cave aquatic salamander) and houses beautiful cave formations as well.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for orthodox monastery

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Međugorje (Medjugorje), Bosnia and Herzegovina
