Tour description

Come with us to discover Bosnia-Herzegovina in all seasons short 2 days tour. We will visit famous Tvrdos Orthodox monastery and taste real Herzegovina white, rose and red wines from its own wine cellar, admire panoramic view of Trebinje from hilly church, enjoy small walk tour in Trebinje, known for its river with crystal clear water, Ottoman bridge, small historical center and beautiful cathedral.

On the next day we will take a road to see Orthodox cave monastery Zavala, archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site) of forgotten religion, medieval town Pocitelj with its narrow streets and old Ottoman fort with great view. We will return back by scenic road along Adriatic sea admire Dubrovnik Riviera.

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. The Tvrdos monastery is renowned for its wine production and its wine cellars, with possibility to wine tasting.

Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Trebinje, the southernmost city in Bosnia-Herzegovina and one of the most beautiful cities in the country, is the economic and cultural center of the region of Eastern Herzegovina. Its Ottoman walled Old Town together with the Arslanagic Bridge (which is one of the most attractive Ottoman-era bridges in Bosnia-Herzegovina) are the most visited tourist attraction in Trebinje.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for orthodox monastery

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

Radimlja, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for archaeological site; archaeological site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Počitelj (Pocitelj), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for fortified town, fortress, medieval old town, viewpoint; medieval old town is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.
