Overall, with this tour you will visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 3 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List). Additional informationWe will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Sarajevo. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place. We depart Sarajevo and travel to the Tunnel of Hope Museum, a poignant underground passage that was a lifeline during the city's siege in the 1990s. We then journey to Travnik to explore its imposing Ottoman-era fortress, dating back to the 15th century, and enjoy the scenic Lasva River. After that, we will come to Jajce for accommodation. Day 2. After staying in Jajce, we explore the town's unique natural wonder, the Jajce waterfall, where the Pliva River plunges directly into the Vrbas. We visit the historic medieval fortress, stroll through its charming historical center (UNESCO Tentative List Site), and relax in its scenic park. We stay another night in Jajce. Day 3. After 2 nights in Jajce, we travel to Scit to visit its serene Franciscan (Roman Catholic) monastery, a key spiritual and cultural center, and its insightful museum. Our journey continues south to the iconic city of Mostar to explore its famous historical center (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the reconstructed 16th-century Stari Most (Old Bridge). We will stay in Mostar. Day 4. After an overnight in Mostar, we travel to the enchanting Ottoman-era hill town of Pocitelj (UNESCO Tentative List Site), renowned for its preserved stone architecture. We then visit the magnificent Kravica waterfalls, a stunning natural amphitheater of cascades. Our day continues to Medjugorje, a world-renowned Roman Catholic pilgrimage center since 1981. After that, we will return to Mostar for accommodation. Day 5. After staying in Mostar, we take a short drive to Blagaj to visit the stunning Dervish monastery (Tekija) (UNESCO Tentative List Site), a 16th-century Sufi (Islamic) retreat. We then visit the remarkable medieval stecci (tombstone) necropolis at Radimlja (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Our journey continues to the fascinating Vjetrenica cave system (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Afterwards, we will come to Trebinje for accommodation. Day 6. After staying in Trebinje, we travel to Tvrdos to explore its Serbian Orthodox monastery, originally founded in the 15th century, and sample local wines at its winery. We return to Trebinje to see its iconic Arslanagica Bridge from the 16th century and explore its charming historical center. Our journey concludes with a scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of Sutjeska National Park before returning to Sarajevo.
