All seasons Bosnia-Herzegovina discovery 3 days tour from Trebinje to see Mostar and surrounding attractions.

During this tour we going to see orthodox monastery Tvrdos with own wine cellars where we will taste local wines, explore the natural cave Vjetrenica (UNESCO Tentative List site), see orthodox monastery Zavala partially located in cave, and finish the fist day walking in historical center of town Mostar (UNESCO World Heritage site) and cross the famous Mostar bridge.

The second day we will start with visiting historical town Blagaj with dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, after we will walk in historic medieval town Pocitelj, served as open-air museum, with narrow streets and old Ottoman fort with great view, see a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD, and finish this day to walk in pilgrimage center Medjugorje.

On the next day we will see archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Stolac hilly fortress with breathtaking view on the valley, and after will return back to Trebinje.

The tour will start and finish in Trebinje (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and will take 3 days (2 nights). During this tour you will visit Tvrdoš, Vjetrenica, Zavala, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj, Mogorjelo, Međugorje, Radimlja, Stolac located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Trebinje. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Overall, with this tour you will visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 3 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List).

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. The Tvrdos monastery is renowned for its wine production and its wine cellars, with possibility to wine tasting.

Vjetrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Vjetrenica (the wind cave) is the largest and most important cave in Bosnia-Herzegovina, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most important caves in the Dinaric Alps mountain range, which is famous worldwide for its karstic and speleological richness. It is a real treasure in biodiversity. Also, it is the home to the famous olm (cave aquatic salamander) and houses beautiful cave formations as well.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Počitelj (Pocitelj), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for fortified town, fortress, medieval old town, viewpoint; medieval old town is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.

Mogorjelo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for ancient settlement, archaeological site, nature

Mogorjelo is site and location of a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early fourth century. The villa area is surrounded by a park. The site is protected by the state and is a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Međugorje (Medjugorje), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for catholic pilgrimage center

Medjugorje, with special vibe and a mild Mediterranean climate, is the largest tourist and pilgrimage site in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a popular pilgrim's destination. There are a number of religious significance places that you should visit if you are there.

Radimlja, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for archaeological site; archaeological site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for ancient megalites, fortress, river, viewpoint, waterfall; fortress is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Stolac and surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times due to the area's favorable natural environment. The rich grounds along with other natural benefits attracted prehistoric man, and later the Illyrians, Romans and Slavs, all of whom left a wealth of anthropological evidence. The area has been settled for at least 15,000 years.
