Welcome to discover Bosnia-Herzegovina with all seasons 3 days mini tour from Makarska, to see old towns, fortresses, monasteries, waterfalls, cave and taste famous Herzegovina wine. With this tour we will also visit in Montenegro town Kotor UNESCO World Heritage Site) with historical center full of Venetian spirit, and small coastal town Perast known for two islands with monasteries.

The first day of this tour will start with amazing Kravice natural park with waterfalls, after we will walk in a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD, and on the way to Trebinje we will visit Zavala monastery partially located in a cave.

After sleep one night in Trebinje, we will take a road to Montenegro to see historical center of Kotor, with cathedral, museum and old fortress in the cliff, and walk the coast of small town Perast, together with short ride by boat to the island with small monastery; later, at the same day evening, we will return back to Trebinje, to taste a wine in the best in region family running winery.

On the next day, we will see Tvrdos monastery, know for its wine cellars, and taste few varieties of wine monks produce there; after we will have a tour in Vjetrenica cave and see unique creature, so called human fish; before we will arrive to Mostar, we will climb to Stolac, old Ottoman fortress with great view to the valley, and we will spend rest of day in Mostar, to walk over old town Mostar (historical center with Mostar bridge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Next day, after night in Mostar, we will see beautiful tekija (dervish monastery) in Blagaj, nearly 600 years old, and walk streets of medieval fortified town Pocitelj with great view from Ottoman fort.

The tour will start and finish in Makarska (Croatia) and will take 4 days (3 nights). During this tour you will visit Kravica, Mogorjelo, Zavala, Trebinje, Kotor, Perast, Tvrdoš, Vjetrenica, Stolac, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Makarska. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Overall, with this tour you will visit 6 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 3 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List).

Mogorjelo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mogorjelo is site and location of a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early fourth century. The villa area is surrounded by a park. The site is protected by the state and is a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

Perast, Montenegro

Perast is a small picturesque town on the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. It is situated a few kilometers from Kotor and is noted for its coast and proximity to two islets, islet of St. George and islet Our Lady of the Rocks.

Tvrdoš (Tvrdos), Bosnia and Herzegovina

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. Vjetrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Vjetrenica (the wind cave) is the largest and most important cave in Bosnia-Herzegovina, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most important caves in the Dinaric Alps mountain range, which is famous worldwide for its karstic and speleological richness. It is a real treasure in biodiversity. Also, it is the home to the famous olm (cave aquatic salamander) and houses beautiful cave formations as well.

Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Stolac and surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times due to the area's favorable natural environment. The rich grounds along with other natural benefits attracted prehistoric man, and later the Illyrians, Romans and Slavs, all of whom left a wealth of anthropological evidence. The area has been settled for at least 15,000 years.

The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Počitelj (Pocitelj), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for fortified town, fortress, medieval old town, viewpoint; medieval old town is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.
