All seasons 3 days Bosnia-Herzegovina mini-tour from Mostar. Bosnia-Herzegovina mini-tour to visit the most important places.

With this tour we going to see historical town Blagaj with dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520; visit archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site); walk in Vjetrenica Cave (UNESCO Tentative List Site), Bosnia's largest and most important cave, and see a unique and totally endemic animal, so-called human fish; close to the cave we will see small Orthodox monastery Zavala, partially located in cave; end of the day we will come to Trebinje, to see its cathedral and have good dinner in local restaurant that also serve wine from its own vineyard.

The tour will continue with visiting Tvrdos monastery, learn why this monastery is so important for all local people, and taste its famous wines; next, we will take a picturesque road to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In Sarajevo, we will walk in historical center, see cathedral, mosques, old market. Next day, before start the road back to Mostar, we will visit the Tunnel of Hope and see panoramic view of whole Sarajevo from the hill we will come by funicular.

On the way back to Mostar, we will stop in town Konjic, to see its famous bridge.

the day will continue with visiting Stolac and climb on hill with medieval Ottoman fortress; next we need to see a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD; we will continue the tour to see the beauty of nature, amazing Kravica waterfalls; the tour will finish with walk in pilgrimage center Medjugorje to learn why people from around the world come here the same way as to Fatima and Lourdes.

The tour will start and finish in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and will take 3 days (2 nights). During this tour you will visit Blagaj, Radimlja, Vjetrenica, Zavala, Trebinje, Tvrdoš, Sarajevo, Konjic located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Mostar. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Radimlja, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Vjetrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Vjetrenica (the wind cave) is the largest and most important cave in Bosnia-Herzegovina, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most important caves in the Dinaric Alps mountain range, which is famous worldwide for its karstic and speleological richness. It is a real treasure in biodiversity. Also, it is the home to the famous olm (cave aquatic salamander) and houses beautiful cave formations as well.

Zavala, Bosnia and Herzegovina

An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. The town is one of the oldest permanent settlements in Bosnia (dating back almost 4000 years), and home to the best preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ottoman-inspired bridge (Konjička Stara Ćuprija). Konjic natural heritage together with the cultural heritage represent rich and valuable resources for Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Europe.
