All seasons 3 days discovery Bosnia-Herzegovina micro tour from Split. Visit main attractions of Bosnia-Herzegovina and see natural parks, old towns, monasteries and museums, Ottoman architecture, fortified towns and old bridges.

At the first day, after pick up in Split, on the way to Mostar, we will visit Franciscan monastery located on lake's peninsula and ethno museum; the day will finish with walk in historical center of Mostar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and see famous Mostar old bridge.

The second day we will spend to see historical town Blagaj (UNESCO Tentative List site) with dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520; see historic town Pocitelj (UNESCO Tentative List site), served as open-air museum, with narrow streets and old Ottoman fort with great view; we will have a lunch in a local restaurant and have small walk in rare place, a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD; the day will finish with walk in natural park with famous Kravica waterfalls cascade.

The third day will bring us to pilgrimage center Medjugorje, and on the way back to Split we will see coastal town Omis, well known in the past as town of the Corsairs.

The tour will start and finish in Split (Croatia) and will take 3 days (2 nights). During this tour you will visit Šćit, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj, Mogorjelo, Kravica, Međugorje, Omiš located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Split. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Overall, with this tour you will visit 1 UNESCO World Heritage site and 2 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List).

Scit is small village located in central area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The village location is notable because it's fully placed on the peninsula located in the middle of artificial lake. Scit is famous for Franciscan monastery built in the 15th century and very specific locality.

Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar, beautiful and historical town, located only 60 km away from the Adriatic Sea, is the cultural, political and financial center of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Its diversity and architecture make it truly special. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for architecture, bridge, cave, fortress, landmark, museum, river, viewpoint, islam monastery; monastery is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Počitelj (Pocitelj), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for fortified town, fortress, medieval old town, viewpoint; medieval old town is a UNESCO Tentative List Site

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.

Mogorjelo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for ancient settlement, archaeological site, nature

Mogorjelo is site and location of a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early fourth century. The villa area is surrounded by a park. The site is protected by the state and is a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kravica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for nature, park, waterfall

Among the most fascinating natural features of this region are the sparkling waterfalls of Kravica, tucked away in the trees, on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 40 km from Mostar. These beautiful falls are well worth the visit and just perfect for a day trip.

Međugorje (Medjugorje), Bosnia and Herzegovina
