With our deep knowledge of the Balkans, its culture, and its sights, we can plan dreamy vacations that fit you to the custom. Due to the fact we specialize in designing custom trips, we will visit not only the must-see attractions but also hidden gems off the beaten path of each area, where average tourists are not common, and sometimes even the local people only have heard about such places.

We always can stop in interesting places to take breathtaking images. You choose what you would like to eat and when you would like it. You select when you prefer to take a rest or when you want to continue having walks.

Contrary to many other travel agencies, we work all year round. We do all-season road trips. Because of that, and from our own experience, we recommend you consider having a tour before or after the high season, when it is not so hot and not so crowded, but all the sights and attractions are already or still open. For instance, consider April and May as perfect months before high season and September and October as months after high season. Of course, you can travel with us and enjoy many wonderful places from November to March; just in this specific period of the year, you might miss the ability to swim (not necessarily).

Currently, there are so many ways to travel. You can use planes, trains, ships, buses, and so on. But only a car will provide you the freedom on the way, the freedom to make as many stops as you would like for photo ops, the freedom for an unexpected picturesque night's accommodation, and the freedom for a quaint local meal, among other things.

The second most important advantage, besides the freedom, is the flexibility of the trip without following a very tight schedule. And among other advantages, we can mention the luggage restrictions and the waiting time in airports or ports or the very limited assigned space in full buses. This automatically means that only with a private or small-group car road trip you can get rid of such limitations and weaknesses. We, at Monterrasol Travel, welcome you to feel these and other differences and really enjoy the most convenient and optimal way to travel nowadays.

Our company has its headquarter in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a mountainous country bordered by Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia. All of them, not so far ago, were part of the Yugoslavian Republic. Croatia has the most spectacular coastline and a lot of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bosnia and Herzegovina has preserved splendid natural reservations and impressive old towns. It makes a great tourist destination for those looking for a historical and cultural experience. Montenegro is a favorite with travelers looking to explore Southern Europe’s emerging tourist destinations. Serbia has one of the most beautiful winter destinations in the Balkans. All corners of the country offer a uniform passion, but they all have their quirks and unique elements that make them special in their own right. Churches and monasteries are everywhere you look.
