Statement about the coronavirus situationWe, Monterrasol Travel, would like to clarify our position regarding the services we provide in the light of the coronavirus crisis.
10 April 2022 updateWe're happy to see that the situation with COVID-19 become much better, and many countries removing limitation, and some countries already removed any restrictions. 1) You can visit the Western Balkans countries where we operate (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro) if you have a valid vaccination certificate or a recent PCR test. There are no restrictions on visiting cafes, restaurants, shops, or attractions, and there is no curfew time. 2) We're continuing to provide multi-day multi-country tours across Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Montenegro. No for Croatia, temporarily.
20 July 2021 update1) We confirm that for all people that would like to travel and can arrive to Bosnia-Herzegovina, we can provide tours all around the country. 2) We also can pick you up and deliver you to the final destination, if your tour is within Bosnia-Herzegovina, and start and/or finish is in Montenegro, or Croatia, or Albania. This is valid for all tours where is planned no more than 2 days outside of Bosnia-Herzegovina. 3) We confirm that the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina with restrictions related to COVID-19 is comfortable for travelling, there is no any restrictions to visit cafes, restaurants, shops, attractions, and no any curfew time. The amount of new cases is very low, and the whole situation is quite stabe. Most of middle-aged and elderly people are already vaccinated with Pfizer, Sputnik V, or Sinopharm.
15 October 2020 updateIn the lights of current situation with ability to travel for citizens of some countries to some destinations, we want to clarify: for all people that would like to travel and can arrive to Bosnia-Herzegovina, we can provide tours all around the country. Think about Bosnia-Herzegovina as a great example off the beaten path travels. Experience the Balkans in a safe and responsible way. You'll be totally out of the overcrowded touristy areas. You know, the safest trips are ones where you avoid other people as much as possible. A coveted destination increases your chances of getting infected and spreading COVID-19. Follow the ideas of Slow Tourism philosophy, we consider the Bosnia-Herzegovina especially interesting destiantion in the current situation for Solo travellers and Senior travellers. All advantages of non-touristy places available all seasons are valuable during this COVID-19 situation.
